Meski belum ada keterangan resmi dari manajemen Persib Bandung, pelatih asing asal Prancis Daniel Darko Janackovic sudah memublikasikan dirinya sebagai pelatih Persib untuk dua musim ke depan (2010-2012). Rencananya dia ke Bandung pada 29 Juli.
Pernyataan pelatih keturunan Serbia itu ramai dibicarakan di dunia maya setelah Janackovic memperbarui status di akun jejaring sosial miliknya, Jumat (23/7). Ia menulis "I`ll do my best for my new club Persib Bandung my first and last club in Indonesia, start 29 July 2010" (Saya akan melakukan hal terbaik untuk klub baru saya Persib Bandung, klub pertama dan terakhir saya di Indonesia, mulai 29 Juli 2010).
Empat jam kemudian, Janackovic kembali menambahkan status "I can tell you now we are together for a long time success for Bobotoh Viking and Persib Bandung all Paris by Java" (Sekarang saya bisa memberi tahu kalian, kita bersama untuk waktu yang panjang, sukses untuk bobotoh Viking dan Persib Bandung). Dua statusnya tersebut menuai banyak komentar dari teman-teman pada akun miliknya. Dukungan terhadap pelatih baru itu lebih mendominasi dari pada komentar nada pesimistis kepadanya.
Sementara itu, dihubungi terpisah Manajer Persib Umuh Muchtar mengaku terkejut dengan pengumuman Janackovic yang terbit di akun jejaring sosial milik pelatih kelahiran 11 Mei 1967 itu.
"Saya belum tahu dan enggak ada yang ngasih tahu saya. Kemarin (Kamis) ketika bertemu di Stadion Si Jalak Harupat dengan dia (Janackovic) saya cuma say hello dengan dia seperti berpapasan di jalan saja tanpa membicarakan hal itu. Tiba-tiba saya ramai dihubungi beberapa media untuk mengonfirmasi soal ini, saya kaget," ujar Umuh melalui telefon genggamnya.
Umuh mengatakan, dirinya belum bisa menerangkan mengenai hal ini lebih terperinci. "Saya tidak akan melakukan konfirmasi mengenai Janackovic. Tunggu saja Senin (26/7) nanti, setelah saya bertemu dengan konsorsium di Jakarta. Saya akan jawab semua pertanyaan mengenai pelatih ini dan mungkin akan ada keputusan apakah saya mundur atau tetap melanjutkan karier saya di Persib," tuturnya.
Viking ulang tahun
Sementara itu, Viking merayakan hari jadinya ke-17 di Bumi Perkemahan Kiarapayung Jatingangor, Kab. Sumedang, Sabtu (24/7) hingga Minggu (25/7). Acara yang mengusung tema "No Racist No Anarchists Just Persib" itu akan menggelar sejumlah kegiatan hiburan dan sosial. Ulang tahun Viking pada 17 Juli.
Sekretaris Umum Viking Budhi Bram Rachman yang mewakili Ketua Panitia Rudi Boseng mengatakan, dalam kegiatan tersebut seluruh anggota Viking Se-Jawa Barat akan memadati bumi perkemahan tersebut. Mereka akan dihibur dengan suguhan band PHB, band Eka Ramdani, dan Yana vokalis Marvel. Selain itu, Viking akan melakukan penanaman pohon di Kiarapayung.
Budhi menambahkan, dalam perayaan hari jadi tersebut tidak semata-mata hiburan atau Viking Day. Ia mengatakan, akan ada pembicaraan internal organisasi untuk membenahi Viking agar lebih baik lagi.

Persib Berebut Peringkat Ke tiga
Persib Bandung dan Persiba Balikpapan akan melakoni laga krusial dalam memperebutkan peringkat ketiga Liga Super Indonesia (LSI) 2009/2010, pada pertandingan tanpa penonton di Stadion Siliwangi, Rabu (26/5) pukul 15.30 WIB. Hingga laga ke-32 atau menyisakan dua pertandingan lagi, Persib dan Persiba sama-sama mengoleksi nilai 50.
"Harapan untuk menjadi juara sudah sirna. Sekarang, kita diberi target revisi untuk mengamankan peringkat ketiga. Agar target itu bisa terwujud, kita harus memenangkan pertandingan melawan Persiba besok (hari ini, red)," kata caretaker pelatih Persib, Robby Darwis, usai sesi latihan pagi di Stadion Siliwangi Bandung, Selasa (25/5).
Kendati terlihat sangat optimistis, mantan kapten Persib ini tetap meminta anak asuhnya untuk mewaspadai kekuatan dan motivasi para pemain Persiba yang datang ke Bandung dengan misi serupa dengan Persib; mencuri poin untuk mengakhiri kompetisi di peringkat ketiga.
"Seperti halnya Persib, Persiba juga ingin mengakhiri kompetisi di peringkat tiga. Selain motivasi, saya juga melihat kekuatan Persiba sangat bagus. Beberapa pemain yang patut diwaspadai antara lain (Robertino) Pugliara di tengah dan (Julio) Lopez di depan," ujar Robby.
Sehari menjelang laga krusial ini, Robby mendapatkan kabar gembira menyangkut kondisi kesehatan penjaga gawang utamanya, Markus Horison Rihihina yang sempat terserang diare. Mantan penjaga gawang Arema Indonesia ini dipastikan bisa dimainkan. "Markus sudah berlatih dengan kondisi bugar. Artinya, dia sudah bisa main," tegasnya.
Kendati demikian, Robby kemungkinan besar belum bisa memaksimalkan peran Satoshi Otomo di lini tengah yang masih menjalani masa pemulihan cedera otot paha. Untuk mengisi posisi Satoshi, kemungkinan besar Robby akan menggeser Atep dari sayap kiri ke tengah. Sedangkan yang ditinggalkan Atep bakal ditempati Wildansyah.
Selain Satoshi, Persib juga bakal kehilangan Irwan Wijasmara yang terserang demam usai menjalani sesi latihan pagi kemarin. Dalam beberapa laga terakhir, Irwan menjadi pemain pengganti di posisi sayap kiri.
Soal Budi Sudarsono yang baru bergabung kembali setelah dua pekan "menghilang", Robby memastikan, striker tim nasional Indonesia itu bakal masuk line-up, meski bukan sebagai starter. "Kehadiran Budi membuat peluru kita di lini depan bertambah. Sekarang, saya tidak tergantung pada dua striker lagi," ujarnya.

Dari kubu Persiba, pelatih Hariyadi memastikan pasukannya bakal tampil all out untuk mencuri poin dari Persib. Menurut Hariyadi, poin dari Persib bakal menjadi kunci dalam pemenuhan target mengakhiri kompetisi di peringkat tiga.
"Dalam dua laga terakhir, kita mengincar tiga poin. Tiga poin itu sangat penting untuk merebut posisi tiga di akhir musim," kata pelatih pengganti Daniel Roekito ini.
Disinggung mengenai kekuatan Persib, Hariyadi mengaku sangat mewaspadai striker Cristian Gonzales. "Dia sangat licin dan harus diwaspadai. Soal tidak adanya bobotoh, saya kira tidak berpengaruh besar buat Persib. Kita harus tetap waspada," katanya.
